Zoey Anne Missimer

Zoey, CORE Fitness’s one and only Boxer-Terrier-Chihuahua Mix, is a vital component of the CORE Fitness Team.
She keeps the trainers and clients motivated and working hard all day long with her enthusiasm and unbelievably cute demeanor.  Zoey is 2 ½ years old and a graduate of Bark Buster’s University. 
She enjoys head rubs, naps in the afternoon, walks on sunny days, and always appreciates a tasty doggy treat. An endlessly devoted companion, Zoey is
a delightful part of CORE Fitness Studio.

CORE brings together a diverse group of highly qualified trainers who are committed to staying abreast of current advances in fitness training through ongoing continuing education. CORE Fitness Personal Trainers are certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Arianne Missimer is a Registered Dietitian, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Neumann College.  She is also a Functional Movement Screen Specialist and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT). Arianne received her BS in Dietetics combined with a fitness concentration at the University of Delaware in 2002.  She played basketball for St. Mark's High School, Delaware AAU, and the UD Intramural team. At the present time, she is actively involved in ballroom dancing while preparing for showcases and possibly competition. She is also an active weekly volunteer at the Mary Campbell Center. Arianne trains a diverse group of clientele, including recreational and competitive athletes of all levels, to improve their overall performance through proper core conditioning and functional training.  As a RD, her passion lies in sports nutrition, and she plans to become board certified in sports dietetics in the near future.  With Arianne’s nine years of experience in the fitness and nutrition field and her passion for working with the physically challenged, she is committed to restoring optimal health and fitness to people of all ages and abilities, including those with acute and chronic conditions, functional limitations and disabilities. 

Christine Coen, NSCA-CPT, received her certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is currently in her senior year at the University of Delaware pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics. She plans to become a Registered Dietitian and eventually enroll in a Master’s Degree Program in Nutrition. Christine previously attended SUNY Binghamton for two years before transferring to the University of Delaware to follow her passion for nutrition. She enjoyed belonging to the Binghamton dance team that performed at the varsity basketball games. Christine also enjoys dancing, running, and cooking.

She looks forward to acquiring additional fitness certifications to expand her knowledge base and specializations as a personal trainer.




Joshua Lilly graduated from Delaware Technical Community College in May
2008 with a degree in Exercise Science while also studying Behavioral Sciences. He is currently certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Joshua has a background in martial arts and enjoys many different varieties of functional training. During his free time Joshua enjoys being in the outdoors and trying new exercise techniques. He intends to continue his education within the health field.

Steve Phillips, NPTI-CPT, graduated from University of Delaware in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. He is also certified in Pilates - Mat Level I through the AAFA. He was awarded all-conference for lacrosse in 2002 at Elizabethtown College, where he also participated in baseball. In 2000, Steve was awarded Delaware All-State Baseball at Tower Hill. During high school, he also participated in football and wrestling.
Steve also plans to pursue a degree in physical therapy. 



Stacy Morey received her personal training certification from North Carolina State University. She is also a Les Mills Certified Body Flow Instructor and the CORE Fitness Office Manager.  She recently has separated from the Air Force where she proudly served six years. Aside from her military job, she worked as a physical training leader and a CPR instructor. While stationed at Dover AFB she attended Wilmington College where she received her BS in Business Management. She plans on returning to school to pursue her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Stacy played field hockey, basketball, and softball for North Stafford High School in Virginia. She recently completed a half marathon last summer and enjoys jogging, rollerblading, basketball, field hockey, and just about every outdoor activity.


Jessica Rombach is the office assistant for CORE Fitness. She is a sophomore at the University of Delaware where she is pursuing her bachelors degree in Dietetics as well as a minor in business and biology. Jessica was a competitive swimmer for the Delaware Swim Team for 12 years and swam all four years at Charter High School of Wilmington. Jessica was swim team captain senior year and was second team all-state, placing top eight in the state for her events. She is now a member of the UD Swim Club as well as the Nutrition and Dietetics Club. Jessica enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and participates in 5k's for different organizations. Jessica plans to become a Registered Dietitian and then continue her education with working towards an advanced degree in business or science.


Adam Marshall, NASM-CPT, NFPT-CPT, CSCS, graduated from University of Delaware in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology. At Dickinson High School, he was the football captain and was awarded Second Team All Conference as a tight end. He currently officiates basketball for IAABO board 11. He enjoys football, basketball, baseball, tennis, volleyball, rock climbing, hiking, and anything outdoors. Adam is also planning to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy.


Kelly Crawford,
Advanced NPTI-CPT, received her personal training certification from the National Personal Training Institute.  She is currently attending the University of Delaware pursuing a degree in the health and exercise science field.  She participated in recreational and competitive cheerleading and diving in Middletown, Delaware, and was awarded second team all-state for diving her senior year at Middletown High School. In the future, Kelly plans to acquire additional fitness certifications as well as continuing her education after college. 


Brian Louis, a 2008 graduate of University of Delaware, has a B.S. in Health Promotion and Strength and Conditioning and a strong background in athletics.  He grew up playing travel soccer and baseball, and at Henderson High School was the captain of the tennis and wrestling teams. He frequently plays and teaches tennis at West Chester Country Club. He is also an avid golfer and enjoys lifting, hiking, rock climbing, surfing, frisbee, swimming, and playing with his dog, Juicy. He is currently studying for his CSCS Certification and planning to continue his education.
