Our programs are designed to ensure proper running mechanics to maximize efficiency and decrease pain. In an effort to do this, compensations throughout the kinetic chain must be eliminated. At CORE, we believe that there is no one way to run; there is, however, one efficient way for you.
Each program begins with a comprehensive fitness assessment to identify your risk of injury. A great deal of attention is focused on correcting muscle imbalances and asymmetries that exist at the most basic levels of functional movement. If these are corrected and addressed early on, your performance will be enhanced. Our programs will help prevent some common injuries associated with running, including but not limited to, plantar fascitis, shin splints, and posterior tibialis/anterior tibilaisis tendonitis. Once the areas are identified, an individualized program is then designed to help you meet your goals.
