Rehabilitation
At CORE Fitness, our rehabilitation goal is to help a client achieve independence in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and leisure activities by providing range of motion, strengthening, and functional training following a client's course of physical therapy.
The typical post rehab client has residual deficits in joint stability, flexibility, coordination, endurance, proprioception, muscle fiber recruitment and strength, but should be "medically stable" to begin an exercise program. It is important to think of your transition from therapy to fitness as a carefully planned event.
We will develop, supervise and modify the conditioning programs for a client while working within the post rehab protocols and guidelines established by the client's physician and/or physical therapist.
In order to help you make this transition smoothly, your personal trainer must be able to communicate with your physicians and/or therapists on their level. CORE Fitness staff has the credentials, professional skills, and expertise necessary to interact with your medical team. We will work with them to create a program that will take your body out of pain and injury, toward recovery and pain-free good health.
At CORE Fitness, your personal health and fitness program will include rehabilitative exercises that we select and customize to meet your needs and goals. The post rehab program may provide the following services:
- Fitness Assessments
- Strength Training
- Flexibility Training
- Cardiovascular Training
- Functional Conditioning
- Weight Reduction
- Spinal Stabilization Training
- Hypertension/Diabetes Training
CORE Fitness's post-rehabilitative exercises can help clients move beyond rehabilitation to new, improved strength, fitness, and health.
