John is well versed in all facets of the golf business with a specialty in golf instruction. In his career, he has had the privilege of working with and learning from many skilled professionals and instructors including the Golf Channel’s, Michael Breed. Having conducted thousands of golf lessons and clinics, John prides himself on growing the game of golf. He works with players of all ability levels and enjoys an approach to teaching that focuses on each individual as an individual. He takes into account the fact that students’ goals often vary and, therefore, the instructional plans must vary as well.
Over the years, John’s students have enjoyed much success and have achieved many goals. Some of the more notable accomplishments of his students include more than ten first place finishes in junior golf tournaments, many occurring on the Philadelphia PGA Junior Tour. Other accomplishments include students qualifying for the Delaware State Open, joining collegiate golf teams, breaking par for the first time, and lowering their golf handicaps considerably. John continues to coach and mentor many of the finest junior players in the state, including the winner of the 2010 Philadelphia PGA Junior Tour Championship and the runner-up in the 2010 Delaware State Junior Amateur.
John also enjoys staying competitive with his own game and has placed first in five PGA Section sanctioned events. More recently, he has made three consecutive cuts in both the Philadelphia PGA Section Club Professional Championship and the Delaware Open. This year he placed 24th in the Delaware State Open, finishing with a score of 219 (+3) for 54 holes. John aspires to one day qualify and play in the PGA Championship and the United States Open.
