At Home

Chest Fly Lie with your back flat on the floor, holding your weights. Start with the arms straight above the chest with palms faing each other, then slowly lower the weights out to the side. Then bring them back over your chest. This will work the chest, arms and shoulders.

YOGA CLASSES

Thursdays at 6:30pm
 
Everyone needs a way to release tension and unwind from a stressful workday.  CORE Fitness now offers weekly yoga classes led by Pavla Chen, a Yoga Fit level one yoga instructor.  The classes are held Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at CORE Fitness.  Stop by and relax your mind and body.  If you want to continue, punch cards are available for ten yoga sessions for the price of $125.

TENNIS CONDITIONING CLINIC

Please contact Arianne Missimer at nutricore@aol.com if you would like to do a clinic for your team.  Location can be your choice, at a court or at CORE Fitness. 

Clinic will be taught by Arianne Missimer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Owner of CORE Fitness. Class size is kept to 15 or fewer so participants can get the most personal attention possible. The camaraderie is great and the training is fun.  
 
Tennis conditioning is a great way to enhance coordination, muscular strength and endurance, improve speed and agility, and ultimately build a better body able to meet the challenges of tennis performance.
Functional fitness for tennis can enhance your overall well-being, decrease risk of injury, and help you achieve optimum performance. Functional exercises are designed to get you playing at your peak performance. The cost of the two-hour clinic is $30.00. Please visit our website for more details. BOOT CAMP!
Wednesdays at 6:30 pm and Saturdays at 9 am
The workout is a challenging, enjoyable, and-results-driven workout. Each session lasts one hour and includes the following: CORE conditioning, strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. Escape the boredom of the same routine workout, meet new people in an exciting environment, and be surrounded by a positive, qualified, and supportive instructor, Adam Marshall, CPT, CSCS!

Punch cards can be purchased at CORE Fitness for $125.00. Each punch card allows you 10 classes for a savings of $25 that must be used within three months from purchase date. Individual sessions can be purchased for $15 a session. Classes are held Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm and Saturday's at 9:00 am.

GOLF CONDITIONING CLASS
Starting in November

The golf fitness program at CORE Fitness focuses on functional training, which trains movements, not muscles. Functional Training enhances coordination, the rhythm and timing of the movement, which provides greater transfer to the golf swing. If you picture the "main movement" in the golf swing, you will see that it is "rotational." Therefore it is critical to improve your rotational strength and flexibility, hence core conditioning.
